Hey,

continuing on the path of deep house feelings, I came up with a story. Imagine a town somewhere on the coast of western Europe. The town hosts a circus. It’ lively all over, and in the meanwhile, the sea is rising. Slowly, surely. After a while the town people and circus folks find themselves sunken. But as if nothing happened, the show goes on, the underwater party doesn’t stop. With that picture in mind I invite you…

between all the polished electro-like house and the subtle minimal tech, there are some tracks that I could only define as ‘trippy minimal-house-tech’. Not the rocking music one would expect, this compilation provides a more laid-back atmospehere.

Lift every voice - part 1

Dear friends,

on my journey thru house music, I could not but stop at one of it’s most heartfelt genres - Gospel.

As the saying goes: “When you laugh, the whole world laughs with you. When you cry, you cry alone.” As I was choosing the tracks for this new mix I realized that I was much more religious than I had realized. Strong, soulful vocals, beautiful melodies and open-hearted lyrics are the theme of this month’s mix Lift every voice (tracklist below), compiled and mixed by my close friend Soniie Forsyte.
